The BHS mentorship program
“A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself.”
Oprah Winfrey
The BHS Academy Mentorship Program began in November 2024 as part of our commitment to offering high school students in The Gambia opportunities not typically available in their schools.
Our mentors are university students and young professionals from many sectors who are eager to give back and support The Gambia's future leaders and innovators. Our mentees are Grade 11 and 12 students looking for guidance through the challenges of high school and preparation for life after graduation.
